📋 What is TaskFlow?

TaskFlow is an offline Kanban task management application that helps you organize and track your work using a visual board. All your data is stored locally in your browser, so it works completely offline without requiring an internet connection or account setup.

🚀 How to Use TaskFlow

Add Tasks: Click the "+ Add Task" button in the header or use the "+" button in the To Do column
Organize Tasks: Drag tasks between columns (To Do, In Progress, Done) to track progress
Edit Tasks: Click the ✏️ edit icon on any task card to modify details
Set Priorities: Assign priority levels when creating or editing tasks
Add Due Dates: Set deadlines using weeks from today or select a specific date
Use Tags: Add comma-separated tags (e.g., "work, urgent, project") for better organization
Filter & Search: Use the search bar and filters to quickly find specific tasks
Select Multiple: Check the boxes on tasks to select multiple items for bulk operations (copy, move)
View Dashboard: Check the dashboard at the top for overview statistics and upcoming deadlines

💾 Backup and Restore

Why Backup? Since TaskFlow stores data locally in your browser, backing up ensures you don't lose your tasks if you clear browser data, switch browsers, or use a different device.

Creating a Backup:

Click the "💾 Export All Tasks for Backup" button in the header
A JSON file will be downloaded with all your tasks and columns
Save this file in a safe location (cloud storage, external drive, etc.)
The filename includes a timestamp (e.g., "taskflow-backup-2024-01-15.json")

Restoring from Backup:

Click the "📥 Import to Restore" button in the header
Select your backup JSON file
Click "Restore" to import all tasks and columns
⚠️ Warning: This will replace all current data, so make sure you have a recent backup!

💡 Tip: Create regular backups (weekly or monthly) to protect your work. You can also export before making major changes.
